Calcium Magnesium Plus D3 Chewable by Seeking Health provides calcium and magnesium citrates supplied in a 2:1 ratio with natural vitamin D3 in convenient chewable wafers.

While bones are in a constant state of nutrient turnover, they may absorb less calcium as we age, gradually losing their strength and density over time. Performing weight-bearing exercise regularly may help slow the loss of bone density, as well as making sure to get adequate amounts of calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, and trace minerals. These nutrients work in complementary ways to support the density, strength, formation, and metabolism of bones.*

Calcium citrate is formed by bonding calcium to citric acid, a naturally-occurring fruit acid. Calcium citrate is readily soluble and this attribute may make this form more readily absorbable than some other calcium supplements including calcium carbonate. It is easily digested and absorbed equally well with or without food. The amount of calcium in this product is balanced with magnesium in a 2:1 ratio.*

Magnesium citrate is a readily-soluble, supplemental form of magnesium. Magnesium citrate may be better absorbed by individuals with hypochlorhydria (low levels of stomach acid) compared to less soluble forms of magnesium such as magnesium oxide.*

Natural vitamin D3 is included to assist calcium absorption, helping to support bone health. Its major biological function is to maintain normal blood levels of calcium and phosphorus, and may therefore be important for forming strong, healthy bones. Vitamin D also works with a number of other vitamins, minerals, and hormones to support bone mineralization, glucose metabolism, neuromuscular function, and overall health.*
